The Birthday Book Program

Why not donate a book to The School in Rose Valley Library in honor of your child's birthday? Honoring them with a book in their name creates a magical opportunity for them to feel special while helping to increase the school's collection, which benefits all of our young readers. I can either select a book from our collection's wish list or you may choose a book yourself. I can also help you choose a book based on your child's particular passions-literary or otherwise! A beautiful nameplate celebrating their birthday is permanently affixed in the front of the book, and they are the first to get to sign it out and bring it home. When they return to SRV at any point in their lives, they will be able to look up "their book". Just think, years from now, a child may stumble upon a book that has his mother's name or even his grandfather's name in it. Good children's literature is timeless and written to be cherished for years to come.

In order to be a part of the Birthday Book Program, please stop by the library and pick up a program form. (They are located on the shelves right next to the front door.) When you have completed the form, please send it to SRV with your donation of $25.00. I will then contact you to make your donation a reality. You will adding a wonderful treasure to The School in Rose Valley. One that will be discovered again and again!
