We are lucky to be at a place like SRV that offers such possibilities for outdoor experiences.

Simply looking at SRV's campus is awe-inspiring, but as teachers and students we like to use the outdoors too! In the Main Circle, we go camping in the fall and in the spring; we go on bird walks every Friday; we go canoeing; and we build forts and play outside at Choice Time every day.We simply love to be outside! Read about some of the students' favorite things to do outside:

"I like camping because I liking sleeping in a tent with my friends."

"I like canoeing and I like Track and Field because it is fun to see how fast I can run and how long I can jump."

"I like that we get to play in the woods. I also like that we have a big place to play in."

"My favorite thing to do outside is play sports. I like baseball and basketball. I also like canoeing and when we go on hikes."

"I like all the special days like May Fair and Apple Day because some schools don't have those. I also like camping, canoeing, and hiking."

"I like Track and Field because it challenges you."

"I like Mike's games because they are fun."

"I like Sports because I love to play sports and get muddy."

"I like how much we get to exercise outside."

"I love the outdoors because we can go in the woods, we get two breaks, and we get a game at recess."

"My favorite things to do outside are play basketball and football."

"I like running in relay races and playing soccer."

"I like to climb on the new slide and do cool tricks on it."

"I like to run in relay races, climb on the new slide, and do tricks on it, and play on the green climber."
