Travel & Directions
Event Locations
The Symposium will be held at the campus of The School in Rose Valley, with the exception of the
Thursday evening address by Alfie Kohn, which will be held in the
Lang Performing Arts Center on the campus of Swarthmore College.
Both are located in suburban Philadelphia, 15 minutes from the Philadelphia International Airport.

Parking and Shuttling
At Swarthmore College, Symposium participants may park in the designated lots on campus. Follow the signs to the venue.
At The School in Rose Valley, parking at the campus will be very limited. Symposium Participants arriving by car should park at one of the designated remote parking locations. Shuttle buses will be there to shuttle participants to and from the campus. When you arrive, please allow yourself 15 - 30 minutes before the opening events are scheduled to begin, to park and catch a shuttle.
Public Transportation
Both The School in Rose Valley and Swarthmore College are within easy walking distance of stations on the Media-West Chester line Philadelphia commuter rail system (SEPTA). (Directions for taking SEPTA)
