Description

A nonsectarian, coed preschool through 6th grade school with a progressive tradition founded in 1929.

Location

The School in Rose Valley is located at 20 School Lane in Rose Valley, PA, 19063, on a wooded 9.5-acre campus one mile from downtown Media, PA. and fifteen miles from center city Philadelphia.

Mission

The School in Rose Valley is a progressive school for children in preschool through sixth grade. In our classrooms and our wooded campus, teachers and students create experiences that arouse curiosity, stretch muscles, strengthen initiative, and stimulate questions. We guide children to know themselves, to delight in learning, and to understand their opportunities and responsibilities in our community and the world.

Enrollment

The School in Rose Valley enrolls 127 boys and girls from a 20-mile radius. Children who attend the school come from many school districts including: Rose-Tree Media, Wallingford-Swarthmore, Radnor, Great Valley, Upper Darby, Lower Merion, Haverford, Chester-Upland, Ridley, Philadelphia, Tredyffrin-Easttown and West Chester.
